The Walk to School

Teejah's Mom waves to her as Teejah leaves the house on her way to school.

Over on the next block, Teejah, a playful girl tiger, leaves her house. Teejah holds her lunch bag.

She smiles and waves goodbye to her tiger mother who waves back.

”Bye, Mama,” Teejah says.

“Bye, sweetie,” her Mom says back.

“Have a good day with your friends,” Mama says and goes back inside.

Teejah walks to school.

Teejah looks forward to school.

Soon she’ll see all her school friends, play outside at recess and eat her yummy lunch.
