Hop Hopscotch

Just then the doorbell rings. Mom opens the door and sees Elena, a cat girl with braids, standing there holding two small boxes.

“Hi Mrs. Racoosin. Is Punky home?” Elena asks.

Punky runs to the door to see Elena. She sees that Elena is holding two boxes.

“Look,” Elena says. Elena holds out the boxes for Punky to see. “Chalk! From the dollar store. Two for a dollar!”

Elena hands one box to her friend. “One for you and one for me!”

Punky jumps up and down with a big smile on her face. She gives Elena a hug.

“Thanks Elena, thanks!” Punky says. “Thanks for sharing with me!”

“That’s what friends are for,” Elena answers back with a smile.

Punky looks up at Mom. “Can we play now?”

Mom says yes, and Punky and Elena run outside to enjoy the beautiful Fall day.
