Class Project

Lucas and his Dad, Mr. Ray are at the Copy Center trying to fix the wrinkled report. Dad explains to Lucas that if they make a color copy of each page, it will be flat and smooth. Nearly perfect!

Lucas likes that idea, so page by page, he begins copying his report.

His Dad watches him and helps him keep the pages in order.

“You’re doing a good job, son,” he tells Lucas. “Make sure you copy all the pages, and keep them in order.”

Lucas follows directions and slowly, page by page, the new report is copied. He’s proud of all the drawings that Maddie drew, and proud of all the written part they both worked on.

Finally, the report is copied, and looks good as new! Mr. Ray pays for the copies and they leave the Copy Center.

“How’s everyone doing?” Miss Eddy asks. “Does any team need to talk to me about their report?”
