Run Your Own Race

Cooper wants to hear the story again.  But Coug is upset and doesn’t want to hear it again.

Dad sits by Cooper’s bed and reads the story just to him.

Cooper has an idea. “Daddy,” Cooper says. “It’s not slow that wins the race.  Or fast that wins the race.  It’s steady that wins the race.”

Dad agrees with Cooper. “That’s right. It’s steady that wins the race.”
