"Welcome my children," she said in a gentle voice. "You are welcome here and welcome to enjoy Rainbow."

"Are you a queen?" Kicker finally managed to ask. She felt a bit nervous because she had only read about queens in Fairy Tales.

"Yes, Kicker," the lady in green answered in a serious voice. "I am the Emerald Queen, and Rainbow is my domain."

All the girls were stunned that this beautiful, opossum lady, covered in emeralds and gold was actually a queen! And actually talking to them.

The Emerald Queen looked around at all golden shells scattered around and all the busy necklace, earring and bracelet making. She turned to face Kicker.

"Except one thing Kicker."

Kicker wondered how the Queen knew her name. But before she could ask, the Emerald Queen spoke again.

"You must return the shells," she said slowly. "You must put the shells back where you found them.

The huge emerald, on the Queen's finger glowed green as she commanded the girls.

"My golden shells belong in the stream. NOT strung on silly necklaces."

Kicker was nervous now and did as she was told.

"Yes, your Highness. Look you can have them all back," she said while dropping her pretty necklace at the Queen's feet."

JenJen joined in too.

"Here, you can have these ones too," Jen said with a pout as she returned her necklaces and charm bracelets. She had wanted to bring the golden shells back to show the other KidzAnimals, but now she couldn't. "We don't want them anymore. We really didn't mean to cause any trouble, we were just playing."

The girls knew then they could be in trouble, big trouble, and waited to see if the Queen would forgive their mistake.

Instead, as suddenly as she appeared, the Queen backed away from them, and disappeared into a green cloud of mist.
