The Emerald Queen

The girls turned around and saw that Rainbow had changed completely. First of all, it was much less colorful. And ugly tracks from their footsteps were everywhere. They saw that even though they hadn't wanted to, they had damaged the beauty of Rainbow.

And they saw the crystal stream where they had found the golden shells in. They saw that their hands had pushed ugly holes all over the place when they reached in for shells.

The girls didn't know what to say. The Queen told the girls the same thing again.

"You four will NEVER leave Rainbow," she pointed to the four in the Rainbow gowns. "You will stay and help me rebuild the Jewel World."

Then she pointed to Maddie and Wolfinna.

"And you two will leave now." She signaled for Maddie and Wolfinna to go at once.
